Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week  The VF commodore has certainly proven its worth on the street and the track, this car in full street guise burning down the quarter mile in 11.06 @ 120.18 MPH Top Ford of the Week  An FPV badge and front mount intercooler are a recipe for fast times, this silver F6 scorching along for a fastest time of 10.04 @ 136.91 MPH, we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before he joins the 9 second club. Top Japanese of the Week  Honda Civic is not the first car that might spring to mind when you mention drag racing, though this little hatch held its own on the quarter mile, running an 11.62 @ 120.18 MPH, certainly no slouch! Top Rotary of the Week  This little machine from SDR motorsport saw its fair share of track time on Wednesday night, managing a best pass of 9.65 @ 140.27 MPH and holding the flag high for rotary enthusiasts. Top European of the Week  If you ever wanted to take a ride down the quarter mile in style, this Mercedes Benz CLK63 Black Edition is the car for you. Crossing the line in a seriously fast 10.48 @ 132.28 MPH and taking home our top euro of the week. Commentators Pick of the Week  The Bikes are always out in force on a Wednesday night, This Blue Victory is a seriously beautiful bike and cruised down the strip in style for a 13.49 @ 96.09 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM.
