ORSMT is at the diff doctor, seems my annoying noise is a pinion bearing. So Bill at Northern Differentials was able to fit her in today. IRS out, new bearings, center bush replacement so far on the list. Should be back on the road tomorrow all being well. I look forward to driving it without having to crank the radio.

Been coming for a while Jack. Noticed the noise about this time last year, but softer. Drove to Adelaide with fresh oil in it, but now my tax is back it's time to sort it.

Very similar to the wad wad sound of a wheel bearing going. Sort of like a wad wad with a slight grinding tone to it. It confused me because I have had many wheel bearings go over the years, and this was so similar. I will have more info on exactly what the issue was tomorrow.
