Default 2016, leak from bodywork

Just wondering if anyone had ever had an issue with water leaking from bodywork panel. Had a severe leak from the storms during November. Took it into ford dealer who came back to say it was a panel issue (within the boot) and not a seal. They are working with Ford Australia as the car is not even 6 years old.

We didn’t notice for a while, so the water has sat in the spare wheel compartment for a while. Evaporating.. and then settiling in the car. Pretty sure all the lining needs replacing, maybe seats - or a very good clean.

I have only recently heard of this exact same instance in VW Passat that was just on a year old, it was finally correctly diagnosed as spot welds that had not worked causing the leak. New boot lid sorted all the issues he had out, along with new boot carpet.

Hey, thanks - I found several videos about leaks in air vents. I’ve fixed those as they were leaking but there definitely seems to be a leak coming up from the body work of the car. As it’s travelling down both sides. I got a small video, but so far no luck in finding it.
