Great day, not too hot, plenty of cars (both in our display, and everyone else). Shame I was too sore to walk around the entire show.

A great turn out by everyone today, new (welcome Daniel and Mark) and old. The weather was great (just started to get really warm up when we departed), the lawns were green and lush (good enough for many more car shows) and the Clubs display was the pick of the bunch (our line up coupled with our marquees made for a very eye catching set up). I think Chris's photos shows how good it was (Thanks for the photos mate).

The only downside was the sausages. The word 'GOURMET' and 'SAUSAGE' should never be used in the same sentence (like 'HOLDEN' and 'GOOD' should never be) :

To finish the day on a positive though, Ford all the way at the Clipsal 500 :

Chris, yes great pics, really like the one of my neighbours (HSV Club Member) girls, checking out my engine bay, LOL. This was my 2nd outing with the club and again very enjoyable, wasn't driving fast through the moutains, but just laxing enjoying great company and great cars, except for those holdens of course :
Looking forward to the next event. Cheers Barnesy

As always, if you want a hires copy of a photo, send me a PM with your email address, and which ones you want* (noting they're 3+MB each, so most email boxes won't take to many).

*You can get the file name by right clicking on the photo and choosing properties.

I took a few photo's, they too big to post so i will trim them down a bit then post them.

Was a great day, and i think it was Buckie who said something like "People look at the mondao and think "what the hell is that"" ... I know what your car is... :P

I looked at my clock at 6:48am... and thought "F*#$ that..." and went back to sleep :P

You should have come and introduced yourself. I'm even walking towards you : Your not a short skinny dude who was wearing a Ford T-Shirt? Had your Mrs with you?

I remember making that statement, but the rest is hazy.

When you get a turbo they just know you've lost them so long ago there's no chance of a repeat appearance.

:P
