The Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club will be holding a show and shine at the Macleay Valley Truck and Ute Show which will be held on the 20th of October at the Kempsey showgrounds.
The trucks and utes will fill the centre ring. Static displays of cars and motorcycles will fill the outter ring (thats us) Vintage and special vehicles may be displayed in the showground halls on request. Full catering and bar facilites will be available on the day. NO ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED TO BE BROUGHT INTO OR CONSUMED ON THE GROUNDS, OTHER THAN THAT PURCHASED FROM THE BAR. A dyno will be operating throughout the day, for both cars and motorcycles. The cost for the dyno is $50.00 for 3 runs. All displays are required to be in order by 10.00am on saturday morning. The street parade will be for trucks and utes only, arriving at the grounds by 10.45am The entry fee is $5.00 per person. All proceedes go to the SES and Westpac Helecopter. Everybody has been invited from the Mid North Coast Ford Owners Club, and i hope most of us can make it. RSVP is by the 10th of october.....all that is needed is a call to me on 0423420078 or leave a message in this thread.

i dunno what that last post is. gforce from newcastle are going to be there with there dyno if that is what your asking.

Being on a Saturday there is a very good chance. Sal loves coming on cruises with me, but works every Sunday. She nearly always gets Saturdays off tho!
Tempting to put the car on the dyno just to see what she's got. You guys with V8s just don't laugh at me if I do ;)

we dont laugh mate. we all started with small cubes and then worked our way up. i love seeing real daily drivers on dynos. makes the day fun and real.

That's it... I'll work my way up to bigger engines one day!
One thing I think I'll win out on is the economy tho! Coming home from Wagga yesterday with the car fully loaded (ar$e end dragging!), I got 544km out of about 41.5L... that works out at 7.6L/100km!!!!!!! Beat that in yer V8! hehehe.

as far as I know I'll be there with bells on.....ok maybe NO bells but I'm tryin my hardest to make it,scratches and all....lol....just remembered...do we just all meet at kempsey or do we meet at Port then drive to Kempsey?????

I'm not happy, Jan, after reading todays' Observer. An article about those Holden boys (at Coffs show 'n shine) and how they just started up their club and are doing so well and how they won the best club display at Coffs...blah blah blah...we MUST have a bigger and better club display than them this time, at the Truck and Ute show - can we take the gazebo and anything else that has our club name on it? Can lots more members come? Pleeeease. If Toby can get here from Sydney and Joolz can get here with her sore knee and scratches, our entire club should be able to turn up! lol...wow! wouldn't that be something! Anyway, back to the real world, are we meeting at the entrance to the Showground and what time? cheers, Trisha.

All those that are leaving from or meeting at Port, the meeting spot is the food for less carpark at 7.45 AM and leaving at approx 8.00 AM Then the next meeting point is in Kempsey information centre at approx 8.40 AM, the centre is located on the left hand side just after you hit the 60 klm per hour sign and cross the bridge that goes over the railway lines. Where the seconed group will be waiting, and we will all arrive at the showgrounds at approx 9.00 AM. We will be setting up our club trailor and marquee with ford flags everywhere, so if you have flags....bring them. Ive been told that east coast holdens are bringing 11 cars !!!!! So lets beat that guys! Show starts at 9.30 AM. Any more questions please feel free to ask.
