Default Wanted: Ford EB Bonnet

Preferably in Stark White or Pearl black. but must be straight, don't mind a small stone dent here or there but no large dents. Replacing the one pictured with a dent above the front grill so gotta be better than that. IF paint is crap then must be straight as for painting

Could be EA or ED

Located Hornsby

If you get one from an EA won't it have the indent for the badge above the grille?

EDIT: Give Budgewoi Wreckers a call, I was there last week and there were a few EA-ED Falcons sitting around.

The wreckers on the Northern rd will most likely have a few.

Yeah they've got about half a dozen EA-Ds but I don't remember any having a good bonnet. Will be going out there again soon though

Yeah, they're not overly cheap with their stuff.

Last month I think I saw another EB/ED here as well. $120 for a bonnet in unknown condition is average too.

Dapto Pick a Part would have a few - bit of a run though for you.

E series stuff is drying up at wreckers as you know.
Repairing that doesn't look too hard - tap the top section in with a dent hammer and dolly, hit the area with a cutting disc
to bring back to bare metal, filler on, sand up with 120/240/400GR paper, spray a few light coats of acrylic colour over it - any
crappy colour will do - seals the job from moisture.

When you're ready to paint the whole bonnet - sand off the spraycan colour with 400GR, prime that area, rub back
400/800GR, 800 GR or scotchbrite the whole bonnet and paint. You could just blend that area, but I'd say the old /new
colours will be noticeable, hence spraying the whole bonnet.
