I’m looking for hire or paid loan of a car float suitable for small hatch (i30 size, approx 1400kg, runs). I have straps, tow pig without electric brakes, clean licence.
Need to pick up a car in Melbourne suburbia and transport back to 2702, basically a round trip. This would be either late next week or in the week following. I’d prefer not to either drag a trailer from Sydney or need to return one to Melbourne. Open to offers/variations if someone wants a car or half cut bringing from Sydney, however. |

Kennards here used to have car trailers, failing that it's ring some of the servos that do the U-Haul type thing.

I’m hoping to find a more informal channel, it’s just how I roll. Not necessarily cheaper but not feeding a franchise.

Your other choice would be...shudder.... one of our Buy Swap and Sell Bookface sites.

A 1 way hire will save X amount off fuel costs. Granted the hire will be a little more than the usual places and I’m not suggesting you use this place, it was a general suggestion.
