Hmmm, how many members have we got on here? say 150,000 members, At $2 each thats $300,000. What better way for car enthusiasts to enjoy the track. Owned and operated by forum members.

Still, wouldn't mind having the kinda money to buy it.

Its 35 km's to the nearest neighbor .... surely there is a block that would be closer to a shop that HR. Is worth a little bit more than $300,000 as it also comes with many licenses including camping, circuit racing, drag racing, etc.

LS1 forum have suggested (tongue in cheek) $100 from each of it's 40,000 members to purchase it. dare i suggest a combined ff/ls1 ownership lol?

just ensure we keep that mob who make the fantastic hamburgers...

Hmmm, well if it keeps another area for our motorpsort to continue. Then even if we did have to donate like $100 i'd be in for that. Even if we had to share ownership with LS1. Atleast we'd be keeping the our sport alive.

I just done a quick caclulation that if every member here made a donation to purchase heathcote we all would need put in around $60.00 each if we got it for $2,500,000.00

I would be happy to do so

Jason

Cool Heathcote

Sound good in theory
but how the are "owners" that are not in Victoria be able to use the track
if you discount all of those you might have to end up paying $5000 a share
just my thoughts John

Its a stretch to get 100 members to pay $50 each to race there

So $2,000,000 divide by 100 is more like it
