(i read somewhere the driver's side seems to get more than the passenger side - may have even been in this thread).

Thanks.
It will vary from engine to engines.
Some will need constant servicing eg every 5-10k, some will require less frequent 10-20k.
You will need to initially monitor your own engine to give you an idea of servicing intervals.

I would always recommend to clean the filters when your car is serviced eg 7-10k.

Hi

We are finding it very difficult to produce an 100% ethanol/petrol filter at a cost that is not prohibitive.
At the moment we recommend more regular servincg or replacemant of the filter until we have a suitable replacemant.

What advantage, if any, do these oil breathers offer when compared to the Ford Racing Oil-Air Separator kits?

Both systems are designed to catch the oil from going into the intake air system

The Streetfighter oil separators, will catch the oil while the engine is running and hold it in an oil separator filter. When the engine is not running the oil returns back to the sump as normal. The rest of the Positive crankcase system remains clean

1) No oil is used(no oil top ups)
2) only requires cleaning/servicing of filters when engine oil is serviced
eg less maintainace
