Not even close.

This is baby bronco on C2, T6 has more 60s/70s flavor.

Are they going to rebadge the Ranger and call it the Bronco?
That looks as pretty as the original Everest mules when they welded a Territory rear to a Ranger front. I am sure someone has an image of that to post and compare.

Actually after further consideration and analysis of the images and other information to hand, I believe the US Bronco will essentially be an Australian Ranger Raptor with a shortened 2 door body.
Hopefully for Australia, that platform is both left and right hand drive.

It's a completely different top hat to Ranger everest

Those mules were actually long term chassis eval units,
Tooling prove out trials were successful back in April and
the first of the proto bodies have been built, most likely
circulating at night around Detroit...shutter bugs must be lazy.

Nope, completely differnt top hat in SWB 2-door and longer 4-door sharing Everest's wheelbase

LHD only.
Removable roof sections and doors.

imagine a modernised version of this...

I quite liked the fan-made Bronco design. Viewable on an earlier Bronco thread.

Are you sure? That doesn’t seem to fit with the new Ford global platform development program?

apparently, after 9 years, the Ranger is now considered a Global program as it sells in North America. It seems the 150 other countries it has been selling in for nearly a decade don't count

US program managers are a bit like Forest Gump, nice guys but they
don't know Jack about the complexity of a true international platform
and building multiple models at the same time in the one plant..

I remember a few years back, GMNA engineers came and saw how Elizabeth
was run pumping out all kinds of different Zetas in RHD, LHD, SWB. LWB; Utes,
S'Wagons and it really did their heads in trying to work out just how that was
even possible.

What's that joke about walking and chewing gum......

VT was the ultimate use of a platform.
Don't think it's ever been matched yet.
Granted VW and Toyota has alot of vehicles based off a few platforms, but not as varied as the VT.

I don't think they run down the same line in the same shift.

I bet the NA guys were surprised when someone told them that cars drive on the other side of the road in some countries.
