Atlas diff on the V6 Capri (loads crownwheel from the rear) .
Different to 4 cyl Capri 'English' front load diff. Wheels cylinders part nos : FORD OEM V6 - 69BB 2261 AA Note that 4cyl 1600cc are 65BB 2261 AB QH - BWC3282 which are listed as the same for 1600CC, have the same bore but the V6 has wider rear shoes If you already have a pair, and can afford some down time, get them sleeved with stainless inserts. Any decent brake place can arrange this for you. |

Really, the best option (IMHO) is to get yours re-sleeved. Never have corrosion problems again. Mine cost just under $100 4yrs ago, but should only ever need a $6 kit next time around.
Otherwise, try Yesterford in Melb : Factory 1/ 21 Burgess Rd, Bayswater North, VIC 3153 p: (03) 9761 4714 , Kevin at Capri Clinic WA has them listed at $42ea + freight (http://capriclinic.com/product_info....bb2405e4438cd2) ......and probably some others too - do some net surfing. Good hunting.... |
