Default bluetooth stopped working

I reckon Ford Audio bluetooth has stopped working on my WS Zetec. The panel says that bluetooth is on & lists the phone but no phones can find Ford Audio. I tried to "debond" the main phone but nothing happened.
Anyone know an alternative to dropping off the car at a dealer?

Technical Contributor: For members who share their technical expertise. - Issue reason: Ford couldn't fix my BlueTooth issue. This member posted a download link, with instruction, on how to do it myself. One week on, the unit hasn't played up once. Three different dealers told me to virtually 'Live with it.

Happened to me about 2 months ago, and after a week it worked again...It's just a buggy system.

It's unacceptable.

You paid $20K for a car. A "buggy" system is non negotiable.

Return the car: demand a replacement car while they fix yours.

Unfortunately, if you look at other recent threads on Fiestas on this pro Ford site, the news on Ford quality and customer service isn't good.

Good luck: you'll need it as Ford will stonewall you..,

I wonder if a reset might help, ie disconnect the battery maybe?

Just a thought anyway

I disconnected battery & bluetooth reset so I was able to bond a new phone. However, I have now lost Voice Control & USB. With USB, it can read the device & all the tracks but won't play.
Probably simple but I guess I'll have to drop it in at a dealer for a day. Sigh.
