Default Hot Rod Show

For those who missed it:

We're putting on a display at the Hot Rod Show tomorrow at the Showgrounds. It'll be a good day - lots to see and do - driving events, trade displays, competitions etc.

We're leaving from the Department of Transport in Bright St at 8:30. From memory, we've got 7 - 10 people signed up so far. Hel's bringing the Lime Tart too! So, lots of detailing for me today.

Cheers

I reckon it'll be a good day. I'm thinking about coming out for a look although won't be putting a car in.
YMIR, I wouldn't post that pic here. It has nothing to do with the club...

The show is at the Maryborough Show Grounds. I haven't got a flyer handy so can't give too many details sorry.

G'day there - it's part of a Rod Long Weekend - they met on Friday, cruises and functions today, show and shine etc. tomorrow, recovery Monday. Camping, food and drinks available on ground.

That's not bad info from someone who's not a details person.

(I was actually hoping you knew about it - DYING to see your car.)

Cheers

Are you trying to get me into MORE trouble? With the greatest of humble respect, I'm merely pointing out that I will need to prepare those cars for the Club display.

I figured this would be a safe post. I was also thinking that if the ute's speedo was inappropriate, perhaps me in speedos would be OK?

Wheels came up well btw. Thanks for those. I'll need some new nuts though (uh oh, I'll be in trouble for that, now). The ones from the Convos are too large in diameter. Good to see you and your family yesterday, btw.

Cheers

Thanks for all the info. I think I had seen this show advertised. Just had a look and its about 300ks from us, will ask the sponser/tow guys but I doubt it.

Car will/should be at Cleveland at the end of the month if that helps you out.

A good day was had by all - lots of interesting cars and people. The weather wan't too bad - a few light showers, unlike what you've endured over the last few days apparently. (We've just come back from Biz Vegas.)

Many thanks to all from the CLub who could make it.

I've got some pics, which I'll break into a few posts.

Cheers
