Might be wrong, but I think you may be thinking of the smaller model that came out when Ford owned Jaguar. It came with a 4 or 6 cyl & was like a small XJ sedan. The model I like is quite a large car, aluminium panels, 280kw S/C V8 & apparently very good suspension. Impressive figures all things considered imo. I have never really followed Jaguar much, so many models over the years & whilst their rich in racing tradition, their general road cars have often been plagued with issues unfortunately.

Very good.

Probably a very good lifetime built SMSF poured into the mods- oh well- not SMSFs in the country of that left hand drive panzer

Those mods in the US would have been expensive but can you imagine doing all that here from scratch on top of purchase price?

Thanks all for the input, but if I do go euro it will be a Jag, something like this

https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/d...5864934/?Cr=30

It's got to have the tan interior, probably not a diesel, and pretty much any colour except black.

This one is the perfect colour combo for me.

Would like to know more about the 2 litre turbo (Ford engine eco boost?), not sure, I don't know much about them, reliable?

This is my favourite modern Jaguar. Awesome S/C V8 Aluminum panels & great suspension. A low km version represents very good value imo, but your budget allows more room so maybe a C63, as some of the other lads have mentioned. What attracts me to cars like the S/C Jag is the price which allows room for getting the car sorted just the way you like it. Whatever you do, have fun and happy motoring.

I had a couple of the old XJ12's and was a member of Jag-lovers.

It's like AFF but worldwide anything, you want to know about any jag will be there.
