Hey I have been wondering that too, since I blew my budget getting the car ready for this kit...

More generally though what are the differences in kits, does the big boys kit come with upgraded injectors and other goodies that the budget kit doesn't get besides the intercooler ?

Thanks,

Jason.

Definitely stick proto 3 on the 290 Chris, we wanna see this thing boogie!

I've love to see someone whack a 6/71 on top of the manifold popping out of the bonnet for the old school look, despite the legal and power issues!

The TVR Griffith was a great car Chris. I'm glad your dad enjoyed reading about it. Maybe we might meet one day. I'd like that. It did 14.25 sec for the standing 1/4 mile back in 1968 which wasn't bad for a car with a stock standard Ford 289 V8 engine. I ran it at Castlereagh drag strip out of Sydney in the AHRA drags for about 6 months, unbeaten, in Stock Eliminator class. Used to win about $50 which was about my wages at the time....lol. My mate Ash Marshall had the fastest top fuel dragster in Australia that used to do about 7.5 sec for the 1/4. How things have changed.....except it is still fun.

I was remembering Chris's words to me when we took my car for test drive. Where I might have agreed with him at the time, this is now a week later LOL.

BTW, still loving my ride guys, bloody awesome..... probably don't need a blower ... but .... who am I to stand in the way of tough BOSS's?

Looks like these kits are going to make the Boss powered cars cheaper to mod than the T6's, 2ok for what will be a 10 sec capable package.

For this power though I would think some drive train strengthening would be required or would that be included. Transmission, diff etc
