Looks and sounds great Chris. I take it that is one of your 'built' motors ?

Any chance of seeing the dyno sheet ?

Jason.

motor is stock 260 with 12lbs of boost and 5800rpm limit.

Dyno sheets will be posted when testing is complete, the reason why we are using a stock motor is to see the effect on a standard engine.

That is insane !!

Great work Chris and all involved in the R & D. Lookiing forward to seeing hit hit the track.

At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot ( I am a Bank Manager remember ) , is this blower something that would be quite driveable on the street....ie if I send wifey up the street in the GT, will she come home in one piece.

Hey Brad,

the blower is really quite driveable - in our testing so far we have tested a large single turbo BFGT and a GT with a Kenne Bell, both cars built engines and over 450rwkw

The blower was the nicest to drive. The best description i can give is that they are like having a thousand more cubes. Not peaky, just power on tap.

Not a question of how much power, just a question of - how much do you want?.

Testing of the non-intercooled version today puts it beyond 350rwkw with no cooler............

I am of course MAD ******* KEEN to get this thing onto the racetrack, so it should recieve both ends of the R and D.

Hi Chris,

Is there a price for the non intercooled version installed on a standard Boss 290?

Hi Chris..Thats ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT : : Very Impressed...Dyno sheets would be great when available..is a rebuild needed / recommended before getting the unit installed.

Hi mate,

at this stage it's looking to be in the 7k ballpark plus fitting (approx 695) we are negotiating better quantities and prices for our components so we can give you guys the best deal we can.

Make no mistake, our intention is to be the best quality AND best price.

Hey big fella, hows things?

We will be keeping the non intercooled unit sensible in power output, and the intercooled version will have a "hot" engine option availible, stronger rods, pistons etc that will handle over 1000 HP.

All this being sorted at present.

Thanks Chris, talk about bang for your buck thats a great price. You guys might have to open 24 hrs to cope with the demand.

So you could purchase a defillipo system, cold air and Blue Power S/C for around the same money as the Y/T charger on its own.

Im not sure what other kits cost - we are setting up our pricing with customer feasibility in mind.

Hey Chris,Any Ideas on what sort of boost I would have to run to achieve 310-320rwkw on the non-cooler setup with a 260 that has headers and full exhaust?

We are still testing, but 6lbs is more than enough...........final figures and dyno sheets WILL follow, this has been a long awaited product, so we'll keep at it, much more to come soon mate, thanks for your kind words.

Chris, I wasn't aware there are any aftermarket rods rated for that sort of continuous power. The best I can find is the Crower Billets that are rated for 800hp@7500rpm. If you know of any better, let me know, 'cos I'll be pulling my motor down soon, and want to put the best of everything in.

Also, what sort of compression ratio pistons would you recommend for a rebuilt and worked motor at an everyday 10-12psi? 9.5:1?

Cheers, Jimmy
