Congrats Rooster, that thing is freakin awesome.
It turned out brilliantly to say the least, absolute winner in every regard. Well done. Makes me want to join the army for some peculiar reason.

Looks the goods mate. Jordan who did my story on the Terminator said he saw it at the 'nats and was blown away with it..... particularly the paint effects.

Well done again to all the lads.

Bringing it to HPR hmmmmmm?????

Seen this bad boy in the Army rag, looks great fellas.
Last time i was posted down that way you guys had the Rover cruising and every time we where on parade you could hear it startup from the other side of the base and doing the odd donute down behind E-land rivers office/carpark.
Hopefully i can get down to have a look at this new weapon.

whats happening with Armagedon are the RAEME lads holding onto it?

Armygeddon hasn't been retired, but it has changed roles somewhat.
The intent is still to appear at events with both cars, LTD doing the skids and the Land Rover just cruising and statics.
SummerNats was the last outing for the big girl to showoff .............

Default The new ride

A big congrats out to all those that have created this car. What an awesome bit of work lads. Everything about this car is a credit to you all.

As a 'pleb' RAAFie I'm really proud of your collective, tireless, efforts. I'm sure the brass don't appreciate how much work has gone into this!

Looking forward to catching up with you somewhere and shaking your hands.

Great thread too.

Q: Who gets to steer this thing? Must have one of the best jobs in the Army me thinks :-)

Cheers

Troy

Default Re: Chris goes army.

Hey Guys, I was just browsing the forum after visiting my local ANZAC day dawn sevice and found this!

Firstly, what a brilliant car!!

I have recently acquired a 1968 XT falcon ute from my Grandfather which he owned since roughly 1971. Before that it was an army ute.

As its looking pretty rough I thought I could turn it into some sort of muscle car tribute to those who have fought for the good life we have here in oz.

Im wanting to keep it street legal but a stroked windsor-c4-9" is what i have in mind. oh and its still the original olive green, gonna keep it like that

Let me know what you think!
