Sorry, but i love that shape of Calais with the dipped headlights and having nearly bought one instead of Bertha I have to say that I prefer the standard look with out the front spoilers, etc but the VL has an unfortunately deserving reputation as a doof doof car.....
best left as standard but you have to appreciate the work gone into it.

" Why can't you maroons get this through your head, [b]some people don't like this car"

Hey Mike, Who are these dark red people??

Only joking, I had nothing intelligent to add so I thought that I'd lighten things up a tad!

P.S, I hope the beast is still running well, J

Nice to see the performance oriented gear under it, gearbox oil cooler and that, it would handle better than any car I've evr owned, I like the car but the dated blue interior lets it down a lot, other than that, props to whoever built it.

Yes a neighbour traded his AU2 XR8 ute with low milage onto a automaitic Nissian pulsar st with drum rear brakes. The trade in was $17 grand onto a $25 Grand small car. I told him the car belongs in the Glen Iris lawn bowls car park. But he justifies the trade as fuel costs & warranty. Each to there own I suppose.

Back to the topic, yes yes it's a lot of work blah blah, but if you are going to use a drivetrain like that, put it in something *interesting* like a BMW Isetta 4:
