Hi all,
I have a Ford Type 9 gearbox and want to put it in my Mk2 Escort. What do I have to do to do in order to use it. I know I can still use the clutch, starter motor and tail shaft but are there any modifications that i have to do and if so what are they? Cheers

Everyone has bad days. The cure is to drop it down a gear, put the foot to the floor and flick out the tail end.

You need to modify the gearbox cross member and the hole for the gear lever to come through the floor. |
