Our CAI's are for the BA-BF-FG range of falcons

We have not made a CAI to suit the AU.

Sorry

Are they going to be made or are you just sticking with the newer models now?

What I did when I had my AUIII 220 XR8, was remove the air box and drill a heap of 3/4in holes in the front of the air box to feed cold air from behind the headlight. The XR front end actually scoops the air straight in. I also used a K & N panel filter.

You find that worked well? Is it worth doing as a cheap alternative for the moment?

It is, either that or cut a rather large hole in the front of the airbox. It's much the same idea as the F6 lower airbox intake.

I might try that for awhile and see how it goes.

Make sure you drill a heap of holes as 1 or 2 will whistle...
If you want to cut a hole in the box, make sure it's in the front. Facing head light!
