Default Got myself a 2010 MC Titanium

Hi all.

Just thought I'd say hi and let you know just picked up the above car today.
Nice shiny Black, 66,000 on the clock.

More gadgets than enough :-)

The powershift gearbox is different to what I am used to, not bad, just different and it's a diesel.

First thing I'd like to do is update the audio / bluetooth software. Does anyone have advice on this?

Needs a wheel alignment (I think previous owner wasn't very good at judging the kerbs). But tyres are all good. Alloys are in good condition.

Anyway, will update my profile and will post again soon.

Cheers.

Jonno.

Congrats on the new car and welcome!
I'm looking at the MD Mondeo but I must admit that the MC Titanium is well priced and equipped! It's very temping to save the many thousands and go for the older model.

Congrats on your purchase. Plenty of gadgets on a titanium for sure.

Enjoy!

Got a 2011 MC Titanium hatch black etc. three weeks ago.
Very aggressive on downshift - back to dealer who dropped 500ml of transmission fluid to top off a supposed RACV check on the car. RACV are going to be asked what they also missed in their supposed check.

Hi Twincam.

How is the gearbox treating you?
How do you find the upshifts?

Upshift is fine Jonno, in fact I am now very happy with the car.
Done about 1500kms and getting 6.8 litres of diesel per 100km. The only thing I would like to change is the red glow from the centre screen, anyone know if this can be achieved?

you can adjust the brightness with the knob on the dash near the light switch.

Thanks - found that but I think that if the colour was a better match to the main screen - light grey / darker grey with a touch of blue would be far better than the fuzzy red.
Just my thoughts as I think it looks very dated.

Agreed. If only Ford Oz brought them in with the large touch screens they had in the UK from about 2011. It looks so much better.

Yep, thanks for info - is there a fix for the fuzzy red?
