Default Territory brakes

Hey mate,
Was just wondering if you could give me a price on a set of front slotted rotors and pads to match for a territory with postage to WA 6065
Cheers mate, also would there be much of a saving to post 2 sets together?

A std Territory with the DBA T2 rotors is $180 each or the DBA T3 rotors are $230 each and brake pads from $80 to $150 a set.
Are you close to Bayswater WA 6053 as we can organize you to pick up the rotors if stock is available and just charge freight on the pads which is $15 for a set or $25 for 2 thanks.

Cheers for the response Matt,
Is there much of a difference performance/price wise between the DBA and RDA rotors?
Also what pads would you recommend to match?
Thanks mate

My preference is DBA as they have a better quality product plus they paint the hats and there slot does not go off the edge of the disc. RDA rotors may be all you need for your car and many FF members use them without any issues but the reality is they are a std chinese disc that has been slotted.

FYI- We just recently sent a customer of ours who is into motorsport down to DBA and check out some products and he was lucky to have a tour of the facility and when he came back to me for a chat he told me he didn't relize everything that goes into making a dba rotor plus the amount of money and development they put into there products and motorsport here in Australia plus not to mention the presentation of there goods.

It is a holding warehouse for DBA rotors and we have access to stock for pick ups for forum members and such.

Hi guys - a few weeks ago I had RDA rotors fitted to my ford territory turbo Ghia. The reason I purchased RDA is I thought the product would be better than the standard ford offering. I have to say I'm really dissapointed with the product. All of the hubs on each rotor have gone very rusty which make the mags on the car look average.

The last rotors on the car didn't actually need replacing, I thought some shiny new rotors would enhance my cars mags. Boy was I wrong!

I asked RDA whether they would refund or replace them, but they said that I should paint the hubs to avoide discolouration or buy ther gold passivated sets.

The end result. A below avaerage product, and below average services. DONT BY RDA! Looks like I will be going back to the ford stock as DBA dont make anything to fit this model :(

Matt, is there any plans from DBA to produce turbo territory rotors, especially now with the release of T2 & T3.

From experience, I too wouldn't get RDA's again. On all my previous cars I've always had DBA rotors, either Street Series or 4000. Only once, due to lack of cash, I opted for RDA's when I had my TE50. Very noticable lack of braking performance(compared to DBA's), hub rust issues, and they also didn't last very long. IMO spending a few bucks more on DBA's is more than worth it, especially if you're getting them from Matt, orsm prices and excelent, quick service.

Cheers for the info Matt, looks like I'll be going for the DBA's if for nothing else I'd go for Aussy made but by the sounds of it has the edge in performance too
I'll be giving you a bell in the next couple of weeks to sort something out
Cheers mate

Approx. $5K for 6/4's and I may be selling my 4/1's for $2.5K

There are bargains out there and if you take your time you can amass the parts one by one.

Best part is you can put it back to std and sell off the Brembos when you want to sell

Intersting first and only post?

Whilst i agree the RDA'a are cheaper, in my case they did an excellent job of stopping the car. After about 1500/2000 k's they were really good in pedal feel and performance. Only down side i had was the pads i got were very dusty. After talking to Matt he did suggest painting the hubs, which i did. Whilst they looked fantastic new, after a few thousand k's of dusty pad they looked dirty, but not rusty. Like anything, prepare it properly and it will do its job.

I agree,

I bought a full set of RDA rotors from Matt for my BF Turbo, painted the hubs and after every wash they look like new.

I was also worried that they would not be as good as the DBA but so far they have been great for a daily driven street car.

They don't seem to have trouble pulling up the 1900kg XR from 127 MPH so for the price they are hard to beat.

If I was to spend more on brakes it would be Brembos for the front only.

We can also do rear Brembo's from $2000 up to $2500 depending on pad, rotor or hose choice and are here to help with any questions or problems you may have.
