Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.
Default Where in Wellington…

Would you buy rescue tape (self-amalgamating tape) over the counter, without getting reamed?

Yep, just before Dubbo driving from Sydney.

Almost got a house there for around $60k when I was shopping in regional areas for property....

Now can't even get a block of bare dirt for that much. Oh well, such is life lol

You get reamed on everything in NZ.

You might have to catch the bus though, they’ve ripped out all the car parks in favour of cyclelanes outside this jaycar.

That will be brother’s problem, plus the car has expired after two years of lockdown and no permitted travel to NZ… I’m sure he can bus or walk it.

A new UPVC pipe is actually cheaper but I don’t think trades/DIY are his strength.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
