Well done Chris, ACE & Wade. Chris i was thinking the other day where you were at as i had seen you around much ( on the Forum etc ), then Whamo like some magic genie you pop up out of the forums magic lamp and blow a whole new record for a customer, and now looks like you have popped away quietly, preparing for the next magic show somewhere down the road.

Mate give up Chris has the quickest & fastest unopened Boss period, no one care's about who came seccond or who has the fastest unopened nitrous powered black gt-p with a driver that wear's pink undies. The Boss reccord stands at 11.07 so deal with it.

Yeh I already have caltrac's ready to go at Craigs works and was talking to Chris this morning about it so if the caltracs dont rectify the issue we can modify the existing bolt possibly to a bigger high tensile bolt but the bolt isnt a normal bolt therefor would have to be fabricated to make suite.
Chalk and cheese difference Wade,if you remember how squirrely mine was,the diff would smash on the body so hard I thought it would fall apart, bars went on and it drove beautiful,no more bash and crash it went real straight,I took them off again for the last few passes on the private day,and it was back to how it was before, all over the shop,I only took them off as I couldnt get the launch dialled in,but should'nt have, the diff housing is marked now where the U clamps are from all the twist.
I bet they'll setlle it down a bunch...

Well done to Blue Power, ACE and any others involved, this sounds like one hell of a set up, you lucky bugger Wade you must be walking around like a 90 year old on Viagra for the first time. After waiting so long you must be hanging for a drive. I know I would be chewing at the bit.

Dont worry about the records....... as people say there made to be broken

I've just sat here laughing myself silly at some of the posts! Half these guys need to get a life!

Messages for the A Team:

Firstly, XRQROR.......will my boss run 11.07 if I wear my pink G String? Your message cracked me up!

Craig, don't you dare eat KKs every day......no matter how close they are too you - we all love you and don't need the news of your heart attack!

Cheers

Is it a laced silk one, if so then your in with a big chance mate lol.

Claiming the fastest Boss is one thing, claiming to be the fast Boss with 9 subtitle's is : . Granted it's quick but if you spray your thrown in the forced induction basket full stop, i don't care if he use's it at the track only or if he use's it on the street as well. Prop's to him if he does makes it a quick all rounder but there's not need to talk **** and carry on like some of these guy's do.

Why can't very one be pleased with this magnificent result. I think it is called 'Tall Poppy Syndrome".

Still chuckling - and so are others................GT

To answer a couple of PM's regarding the car.

BA XR8 Ute 6 speed manual (with weathershields)

Blue Power spec built engine (not for me to publicise the details that's Chris's call)
Twin plate "Micks clutches" from QLD
Standard 6-speed gearbox with Rip Shift
Standard Diff with 4.10 ratio.

The car was set up for racing in our normal race trim

Cat back exhaust off
Tailgate off
Pass seat out
90/10 shocks up front
Weld racing wheels with slicks
Front sway bar off
Premuim BP Ultimate fuel (1/2 a tank full)

The car can be put back to street trim in 1 hour with 1 person doing the job.

The car weighs approx 1716 kgs with driver.

Hope this answers some of the questions

Cheers Craig

mate it's great to see a manual doing this . i would love to see one of these bluepower/ craig@ace cars in action wish you guys were in sydney. it would be awesome seeing and hearing one of these bossv8's cracking 11 's in manual . knowing how hard these things are to get off the line .the acceleration and top end must literaly be phenominal.
