Default Boge Shocks and Lovell Springs?

I've decided to get the front end lower and make the car look "drag-spec" (front lower than rear). Currently I have Monroe gt gas shocks and King Low Springs.

Since monroe gt sports shocks are considered standard shocks, fitting superlow springs means changing the monroe shocks to short travel ones...even though I know people use the monroe gt and SL spring combo. But I've heard overall shock life and performance will be reduced.

So I'm considering...
- Boge short travel shocks $145pair -28-A84-A (25mm shortened body)
- Lovells Superlow Springs $69.50pair -FFL-27SL-

these prices are quoted from GT Suspension in Flemington.

Can anyone vouch for these brands and whether the pricing is decent?
And are Lovells better than King Low Springs?

thanks, Matt

LMAO @ drag spec, you've been to calder too many times Matt :nutsycuck

Those prices seem really good, as far as i know Lovells sit a little lower than their King Spring equivelants, a few forum members have them on their cars, but i've never heard of Boge though.

That's damn cheap for a pair of Lovells superlows, so $140 for a full set ?

Lovells are alright. I had a set of Lovells 'lows' in my old EA (Damo's car :P ) $69 is pretty cheap for a pair of springs. King springs usually sell for $100-$120 for a pair.

Don't quote me, but I think Sundeep has Lovells superlows in his EA so you could look at pics of his to get an idea of height.

might be each, I thought that myself.

Lee's was selling a set of 4 for $300-ish so 145 for 2 made sense...

Rears are cheaper then fronts. Thats why that sum dosnt really add up

I just asked and you can get a pair for $205 + around $15 for delivery.

Check your prices from GT Suspension arent for each..

That sounds great!

These are the details from GT Suspension...

Part Number 28-A84-A
Pair Weight kg
Price $145.26
Part Type Both
Fits Car
Make Ford Falcon
Model EF
Series XR6 Shortened Body Lowered Suspension
Cylinders
Year 08/94-09/96
Location Front
Application Damper
Product Notes Body Shortened by 25mm
Car Notes Incl: Tickford

It's the Part type = both that threw me...145 sounds more like it for each...but the cheaper the better hehe

Ah yeah , that sounds more like it

About $70 saving o_0 , sounds good to me! Give Lee a call, or an email. Or I can sort it out for you.

Steve

I'm unsure about Boge...cant find much info on them

Anyone vouch for Koni and KYB shocks?

Whats the difference between Koni 822432 special and 8241-1153 sport shocks?

Need a broader feel for what short travel shocks are out there. Part numbers will help too!
