It is a sexy car, love the lines on the Cougar.

Can I ask you, in the 1st pic you I noticed reverse parking sensors, are they after market or a dealer option?

Cheers

Cool thnx dude. The car is straight as. As the money comes in i'll start doing some little tweaks. Twin Exhaust and the rims. Ford badges are getting a little make-over this week sometime ;)

Rear sensors are dealer fitted. I check that out before I bought it. Works very well too coz it has all four sensors which is rare on a car this size.

Looks good there Cougar_boy,

Similar to one that was getting a little bit of a makeover in the local panel shop recently, had a very sad front end :

Would be good to improve that exhaust and intake, gets a nice little increase in horsepower. One thing I have been meaning to ask is does the cougar have an obdii connector under the dash ??

yep, they sure do, just above & to the right of the accelerator peddle, they have a blocking plate over the connector pins so I haven't had a chance to see the pin out config yet to see if it's compatible with the OBDII scanner I bought a few months back

I'm changing the colour. Instead of silver on blue, i'm making them silver on black. Should come up nice

Thats gonna be a nice touch, seen that done on a black Fiesta up here
Might I also suggest getting some tinted/smoked sidemarkers for your car? They'd go really well with the headlights, and the silver/black theme you seem to be creating. The place I got mine from on ebay sold smoked ones too.

When you get a chance could you post the pins that are connected and whether the protocol is pwm. Also be interested to know the pcm four digit code, I am trying to know ahead of time if a sct flash can be done on the cougars/mondeo's that came to australia. I am having all sorts of trouble getting into the pcm for the Mazda, cannot even get any datalogging out of it at the moment. :

Anyway again congrats on the ride.
