Problem now is that i have nothing left to do until i get the aircompressor back, and i really don't know when that will be. The rest of the car is fully prepped as well as all the smaller bits and peices, so now it's just a matter of waiting.

I am confident the car will be back together by the glenmaggie camp, but i'm not entirely sure whether i'll take it or not. Would like to have a little while to actually drive her around to make sure she's 100%, as im not overly confident in taking her through the twisties of licola straight after she's put back together. We'll see anyway

Okay everyone, i'm going tomorrow to book the car in. She will have an appointment with the booth on Sunday the 15th. The prep work will be finished this weekend and the rest of the week will be spent cleaning the car of every once of dirt and dust, plus any masking off that needs to be done.

Here's the rundown of what needs to happen...
Friday = Finish off bonnet, reprime bodykit
Saturday = Fully prep body kit
Sunday = Spray door jams, boot jam and underside of bonnet (will be done in garage)
Monday - Saturday = Cleaning clening cleaning
Sunday = Spray car
Monday - Tuesday = Complete anything left to do in engine bay
Wednesday onwards = Put rest of car back together, learn to drive manual :P

It's a tight schedule but will be done, unfortunately it really leaves absolutely no room for error. I can garauntee the car will be done, but unfortunately i can't garauntee it will run :P

Wish me luck people!!!

Well we got a fair bit done on the weekend. The Bonnet is now 100% shaped perfectly, and the kit has been reprimed and rubbed back. All that's left now is to rub back the bonnet (which i'm not doing myself), meaning all that's left for me to do is prepsol/clean the whole car. Stay tuned for a HEAP of pics next week

Alrighty, the bonnet is done. Shaped, primed, prepped, DONE! I've cleaned the car up, but will keep going over it again and again till sunday to make sure no new dust settles itself, and to make sure that nothing was previously left behind. Anyways, had no real progress pics to show, but here's something to whet you appetites till Sunday

The front bar isn't a great fit (aftermarket crap), so will haveto have it screwed in from the inside up thru the gaurd to keep the sides in. No big deal tho...

No but my fingers are fairly callused and very smooth :P I've gotten used to constant sanding so my arm doesn't get as tired anymore ;)

He's had plenty of practice. His arm is immune to the sanding motion.

Looking good steve !
