Question level or otherwise

What the hell are you all on about cars in the 5sec class have run and won at calder you set your car up to suit what the car has before you worry about what the damn track is calder has never been any different for 30yrs i know of except for when the track goes through a complete re-surface. : as to the nationals calder lost them as the track was stripped of their sanctioning from A.N.D.R.A so therefore was unable to run sanctioned meets and thats the bottom line... : , It's simple you run your own race you are there for 2 reasons to better what you have already been able to acheive and to represent e-series so let's cut the crap last friday night was a really good night let's not ruin it by taking swipes at each other.......... :SaiyanSmi :the_finge

ok i didn't word properly

it wasn't in anyway to 'defame' or otherwise 'affect' calder... it was my own opinion . and shouldn't be taken to heart.

after all, i wouldn't go to calder if i didn't like it... hence my name in the list ~

end rant ;)

: :

edit: and racing from infield rocks .. !

and last friday night was great , can't wait for this one!

Hi Guys,
Another poor newbie question...
Although I'm an eseries owner, I've not actually joined (payed) a membership fee for deleted link (if there is one). I don't even have a sticker!

I've always wanted to see what the XR did down the qtr but have never been down the strip. What sort of entrance fee's would I be looking at to attend on the Friday night? And can the helments be hired directly from Calder, or is it a 3rd party co that attends the meet?

I've been hanging out for an eseries cruise, but this Sat is out of the question for me.
Perhaps this event could be my first run down the qtr.

I would imagine it would be around $40.00 to run your car at Calder and i'm pretty sure helmets are available at the track.
Maybe someone who has competed at Calder can confirm that.

You *CAN* get free spectator passes, but you have to know the right people. Otherwise it is $10 to watch. Food is expensive!

Entry is about $55, E-series entered as a club group, and we get discounted to about $45

I was told by a few people to make sure that I let a little bit of air out of my tyres before I drag to get better grip!?
What PSI's would you reccommend?
Or any other tips and tricks to teach newbies?

Angry drag night

: :: Ok still discussing the issue with calder but is looking more like the 29th .
secondly Grechie what part of passenger side does not register with you . coming from the infield it needs to be on passenger vent window.

Ok there have been no more additions to the list do we open it up to the forum ????? and see where we go from there.

let me know. asap so we don't run into any trouble down the track....
I will advise later of the calder park meeting point and procedures that will need to be followed to ensure it all runs a bit smoother that the last one.SaiyanSmiUp_to_som
