Default Best/safest way to remove rear windscreen

I've got to remove the rear windscreen. Looking for advice on the best way. I'm in NYC so breaking the glass will be a horror. Usually I cut the rubber from the outside but the trim is in the way. Do I cut it from tbe inside?

Thanks
Leon

if ya don't need the rubber or roof lining , yes. (you may cut the lining as it folds under the screen edge)
The other way is put ur bum on the rear seat with your head on the console and wearing socks push firmly on thetop corners of the glass. get some one to pry the rubber up around a top corner. Once you get about halfway across the top, it will begin to move under "foot" pressure

You pull the seal down (on the inside and run a length of reasonable diameter rope the whole way around the screen under the seal to hold the seal out at right angles to the screen. Then just push with your feet. ;)
