Gas is not a option on this engine as its a weekend car with a desent amount of power so its not about economy at all more about big tank and a deep pocket on the days I do take her out .

It still retains a clevo block, top loader and 9" as God intended!!
Seriously motor and box have been lowered and pushed back in the bay to get the blower under the bonnet (inportant for rego in NSW), using custom x members and mounts, the tailshaft is a 3.5" job with HO uni joints ect. and the diff housing is a custom job too.

PM me if you wish, but in hind sight its a bugger of a setup to get right. The biggest issue is the body number is removed from the car and needs an RTA number stamped in (they only do this once the car is complete and engineered and passed a stolen ID check, so you can imagine what a RTA guy can do to perfect paint with a stamp set and ball pien hammer : : : )

Wow! That is fantastic- did you have it at the Sydney Show last year? If not, there appears to be an identical coloured one with the same suspension setup (may have been a sedan in hindsight) getting around...that is a fabulous machine.
Tony XA- my favourite coupe other than the Landau...best colour scheme too...love it!

The calibre of coupes on here is getting very good indeed...keep them coming!

Nice sound system by the looks of things! Bewdiful coupe Gary. I love it!!

After the run of bad luck you had, glad to see you got her finished!

What can I say...."Green's Nice"

Thanks for the kind words, it really is good to know (a relief?!) to hear that the car is accepted for what it is, I was kind of worried that it would be shunned, not a GT, that kind of thing, so thanks.

MeanXb . I do love the look of this coupe but I think theres alot more to it than just looks seems theres alot of out of the box stuff going on engineering wise under the car .
The car just looks like a very nice coupe until you see a few pieces that suggests there alot more to it .

Yes they are gold- they are actually gold chrome rather than painted- I've owned them for at least 3-4 years and theyve seen plenty of wet weather but no peeling yet...keep fingers crossed!

MeanXB- definately was yours now that I have seen the boot shot- there was a certain individual sitting in it that has "FATASS" as his plates (mounted on the most desirable Ford coupe!!) when I saw it. It truly is a masterpiece- you should be proud of her!
I look forward to seeing her again sometime.

The lack of the shock towers look great MEANXBCOUPE, a true credit to you on the whole job. With that front end, if it is hard to set up, would you go that way again, or would you give something else a go like an RRS kit?

Here is a pic of my old girl.

Glad you know who I'm talking about, he and I were in a long discussion relating to said Coupe Club days, at last years Peter Warren All Ford Day when he accidently offended someone from the club who was sneering at my Landau....very amusing and a top bloke.....nice car too! :
