I took the missus to Skydeck 88 in Southbank and we watched the sunset, then came home and ordered a bucket load of greasy pizza and watched Robocop. She said it was the best valentines day ever because there was time for both of us to have our moment- with pizza!

Wow looks like a fun day NOT and no 'happy' ending I'm guessing :(

You got love those people who have all the time in the world to turn before or after you but they always wait to the worst time to do so

Well I'm single like everyday so it was great for me not having care about it at all :

Yeah couldn't believe it, I had been watching him for at least 500-600m. And after reviewing the evidential video I took, my skid marks were probably only 4-5m long, not far to bring a car down from 80-90 km/h

My Valentine's was nothing spectacular. I baked and decorated heart-shaped cookies from scratch and decorated them, wrapped and packed them into cute gift bags with pretty ribbons. I gave them to single friends when we went out for dinner together. The restaurant we went to gave us (just the girls) single long stem red roses which was sweet. And it reminded us we were single but oh well, maybe next year? Oh and my rose bud is starting to open up now. Preeeetty!

One of the girls at work had flowers delivered.

She said, "Now I'm expected to spend all night on my back with my legs in the air".

I said, "Why don't you buy a vase?"

Well I replaced the alternator and P/S pump in the EB and it's running again. So this Valentine week might end better than it started.

OK well I did something Cheezzzeee.

I was not due back from the states until the 16th, but changed my flight to get back on Valentines day, arriving at 5AM into Auckland. I knew the wife was not at home, she was staying with her mum for a couple of days. I book a corporate cab to pick me up at the airport.

Obvoiusly I did not tell wifey that I had changed my flights

So

Get home, have a shower, get some music loaded on the Iphone
Go buy a dozon red roses
Go to a fancy dress hire place and walk in white looking like an officer in the navy.
Head off to the Mother in laws
Put the music on and knock on he door
The rest is history.

It was worth doing it just to see the reaction, not to mention the points, she even said I can get a Harley, GT and a Mustang

Took a convertible mustang for a drive down sunset blvd towards Santa Monica and went for a sunset walk on Venice beach. Had nothing to do with valentines day we just felt like doing it.
No presents and cards this year. Woo!

I'm at work still, but in pain as my back and chest has pretty bad soft tissue damage.

Guess I'm lucky my job is being an I.T tech, i.e sitting down most of the day.

I continually tell my wife that I have never ever believed in Valentine's Day and that why should I take only one day to tell her I love her?

Well, something is still expected from me.

Think I lost out somewhere.
