To coincide with EASTLINK and it's start of tolling, looking for expressions of interest for a Cruise that's "FREE" by 1 day.
 : Tolling (fee's) start as of 12:01am 27th July When : 26th July would be the day of the cruise. Day / Late Arvo / Night ??? For people that haven't seen the whole link, like myself, what better way to do it. Family or just yourself. Route : Start Frankston around the Seaford Road Entry ramp. (??) Join up as we go along?? Up to you. Heading North up the Eastlink, all the way through the tunnels. Get off Springvale road exit, turn left, head South down Springy Road for about 1.5k's, to Macca's (On Cnr of Springy Rd and Maroondah Highway) Chew the fat  : : Pull into service lane on Maroondah Highway or about 600 Metres further up service lane is a Park and parking area, where you can pull into and chat. Plenty of parking there.Get back on to Maroondah Highway by turning right (Head West) , then turn right again on to Springy Rd (Head North). Head North on Springy Rd, 1.5k's - turn right on to EastLink, follow EastLink towards Frankston. Or split off your different ways. Interested???? Suggestions?? I might include this on the main listing for cruises (any fords), if we get some interest. |

Yep, I'm interested, only driven on it from Monash Fwy - High St Road twice, be nice to go through the tunnels.

Okies. This is still a go'er, keen to meet up with a few guys.
Been a bit busy here, my Gran has been ill in the hospital, so it's been a few rush trips from home. Pretty sure things should still be OK, tho for Saturday. What's best? Daylight / Twilight / Night? I usually work on Saturdays around 7:30am till Noon. So early / late afternoon / night suits me. Daylight is probabaly best, I suppose for "views". I'm keen to start from Frankston then Northwards. If we start the other (Springy road or somehwres there), it would have to be a Frankston Macca's / Food stop. What's your calls? |

I think I'm going to have to give it a miss, Wife's getting her Gall Bladder out on Wednesday, so I'll be looking after her & watching the kids..

Around 2:30PM Saturday 26th.
Meet at Seaford Place - Seaford (big wide dead end road). Just off Seaford Road / Brunel Road and Freeway Entrance. I'll be in a Winter White BA Wagon. GPS pos : 38o 06' 38.60" 145o 08' 29.38" Drive up Seaford Road, Freeway Entrance then on to Eastlink. Follow Eastlink to the Springvale Road Exit. (Exit is just after Tunnels) Get off Springvale Road Exit (turn Left). Head South about 1.5 K's, Just before intersection, pull into Macca's drive thru grab a bite to eat. Head to Walker Park (about 600 metres East of Macca's). Drive up Humphreys Ave. Park in Car park up about 100 metres. GPS: 37o 48' 58.70" 145o 10' 58.62"  Have a chat........ Head back to Springvale Road, Head North up Springvale Road, stay in Right Hand Lane, turn right into Eastlink. Now if you want to end it there, fine with me. But I'll be driving back to the Greens Road Exit. So up to you guys. I'll bring me Camera, well what camera it is (crappy 4MP). It will be cool weather, so Jumper or maybe a Jacket would be suffice
