I wish I did bud but unfortunatley all bolted to my car.

Take everything out thats not bolted down, thats inside the car and boot keep as least fuel in as possible, go some V power for a few days before hand air filter out lower profile wheels and tyres got some 16 inchers here with low profile tyres if you wanna borrow them. Not sure if they fit the BF they should.

Tractive effort is higher with your existing wheels than the 205/50 16 wheels and tyres i gave Jason ??( if they are the 14.4 specials ??)
Aaron drove away from me when i had my 19's i can gaurantee you the reverse would take place with my 16"s (alloys fitted).
in fact he will run a 13.8 with my rims on !!
Timeslips prove this ...
Steel rims are heavy and narrower and will stuff up your ABS and SCM because of the different dia front to rear !!!
Be warned .....
Ba ,s can turn traction control off on the dyno but i am unsure about stability control on the BF ??
Have you got the O2 sensor issue sorted ?

14.2, just to clarify

Just think if we could get 15's on

Never had any probs with the Abs and stuff with different height wheels, Bf may be different unsure on that

My bad , BF is way different... Hopefully they have the same buttons i do ....Gonna snoop around when Aaron gets here....

You can get 15"s on , have a watch of the Ford Forums National's Footage ..., Real slicks fit easy.
Thats how i destroyed my 4.11s !!

Well I will be definitely up for a run on Wed. I have my car booked for an exhaust job. I'm getting a twin 2.5" system cat back with quad tips. Can wait!

Dazz you said something a little while ago about looking for some slicks and finding out the smallest rim you can fit on the xr8 ute. I'm still interested.
Also I didn't think about the traction/stability control system being affected by the smaller dia rear wheel. But will turning off traction control be enough to stop any issues? Bf does have a button to turn it off.

Yes I forgot to turn off the traction control on the first run.....I couldn't workout why I couldn't keep the rears spinning!!!! :
But for the next three runs I remembered.

I was tired last night when I was replying to the post. What I was referring to was turning off traction control with smaller dia rear rims, as I was considering buying a smaller sized rim with slicks.
