From personal expereince, its quicker to go up the newell through Wagga wagga... but if you like a comfortable drive... go the Hume until you get to somewhere like the Gundagai or West wyalong turn off...

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

I'll prob leave on the Friday and make a long weekend of it.

But if there is a BBQ lunch being organised I can drive back down from Parkes on the sat as I need to put k's on the SR as it only has 500 ATM.

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the BF Fords, loved the sound of parks , but alass my funds are low, as well, i'm looking to become a member of the b-series club. if anybody is intrested may be we could meet around Melbourne and do a day trip to the surf coast with a BBQ at the end to get to know the other member the are low on funds as well.

mate best thing to do is organise an event in this section... start a thread and see how many are interested and then organise a date :
