Default Advanced Timing

What would a car do if the timing was too far advanced?
Would this make it run rich? Thanx. Is it different for different cars?

Thank you.

It would PING (pre-ignite), means trying to send the piston backwards, not good and will kill the motor. wont cause it to run rich that i know of.

What you need to do is tune it to run on the best fuel you can. BP Ultimate or Optimax. You'd tune it so that with a tank of optimax or Ultimate the timing is advanced as afar as that it will just not ping and you leave it at that, as this is the furthurest you can put it.

With the engine tuned in this way it means that you can no longer use shit fuel, if you do, an octopus will come out of your exhaust and decapitite you.

yeah nasty, i know.

Just get a timing light and roughly work out the degrees on your balancer... Make sure your balancer aint out though
