hey guys i am having a problem with my car.
its a 96' EL futura ex police car . the problem being the odometer resets evertime the engine is turned off. also the service light comes on everytime the engine is restarted. i cancell the service light but it still comes on next time i turn on the car, my mech has looked at the car and found nothing wrong bar an oil leak. what could it be? i am mainly concerned about the odometer as i would really like to know how many k;s i am getting out of a tank! cheers! marty

thier is no problem with the car at all, the problem is in the dash prosessor it's self, the only way to solve it is to get another dash assembly or you may want to get it repaired by a qualifed insturment reapirer...
