Just looked at mine. Rapscallion interesting you mention Chris Jones. My car was in with Sinclair Ford Wednesday this week. Chris was my service man but mine was not identified or fixed - one day after your Zetec was done. Fortunately I need to contact them on Monday so I will have it fixed- Interesting that if you dont mention it they wont fix it automatically unless it is a recalled fix. Hmmmm

This part is not standard on a Zetec, so not something the dealer is obliged to identify and rectify. You are absolutely right though, if you don't mention it they certainly won't. The great thing about Chris was that he took the time to understand the problem and get the right part.
