Default 2.0L EcoBoost Oil consumption

Hi guys,

I have a 2011 Mondeo Zetec EcoBoost 2.0L turbo. It has 34k on the clock. It was serviced at 30k, a few months later I checked the oil and it needed 1/2 a litre top up.

The car runs very smoothly, blows no smoke, just wondering if the EcoBoost does use up a bit more oil than other cars. Some - just checking if it's normal oil usage or not.

Thanks.

Joe

did you check the oil level straight after the 30k service to ensure it was full then?
