Default Car detailers in Brisbane?
The inside of my car is starting to look quite lived in. The leather is getting a little dry and worn and there are grub marks that show up well on the light coloured interior. Of particular annoyance are the armrests which are finished with tiny turtle shell style grooves – looks very attractive but attracts dirt well too. Scrubbing only cleans the surface making the dirt embedded in the pattern stand out even more. I don’t have the products, time or inclination to do anything about it myself these days. Can anyone recommend car grooming services (I don’t mind driving if they’re close to Clayfield) who can treat the leather well, shampoo the carpets and generally bring the interior up like my feeble attempts can’t?

Hi mate,

I have used a fellow (have for the last 5+ years) from Carlos Car Cleaning and have found him to be great from basic washes right through to full show quality detailing. Just make sure you explain what you want and I'm sure you'll be happy.

Just an update for those who can benefit from it.

I discovered a revolutionary tool called a toothbrush on the weekend. With some quality leather cleaner, the turtle shell grooves come up really well. The completed bits look like new.

... must get back to brushing ...

I have seen IntelligentSkro's brushing on his arm rests, and they really come up a treat. Quite funny, as he has only done half of one, so it will annoy him enough to complete it...

He will have to go into retirement early to have it all done my 2060. When you see the amount of real estate he has to clean with that tiny brush its quite funny

A soft brush is really good for cleaning leather because leather is a skin so it helps the cleaner get into the pores better then a cloth can. I use a larger leather brush tho.
