Default tune for big cam/hi compression

Hi Joe
I have an EF Fairmont which needs a tune.
I've heard good things about CMS so I'm keen to get you to see what you can do with it.

Basically just wondering how long you need it for as I will be making a special trip from Port Macquarie, and taking time off work(what a shame, haha). Would like to do this some time in the next month or so.

ATM I am running a basic tune on my J3 chip (T.I. Performance), far from perfect but way better than without the chip.

Idle is not too bad, most of the time. Part throttle is a bit rough at lower rpm. Over half throttle is good.
Full throttle is not an option though. Pings too much for my liking.
I realize this is most likely due to high compression, but would first like to try pulling some advance out of it, and make sure it's not running out of fuel.
Also bucking on deceleration and running on a bit.

Water injection has made a huge difference, also 2 colder heat range plugs helped.

List of mods:
- moderately ported ED Tickford head, shaved to the limit.
- AU MLS gasket
- Crow Cams custom grind, 110LSA, long duration. Adjustable gear.
- AU injectors (also have BA injectors and modified rail if needed)
- Tickford 300kpa pressure regulator
- Walbro pump
- modified EF air box, AU induction pipe, XR6T snorkel
- Pacemakers (race series)
- 2.5" zorst, high flow cat
- custom high pressure water injection setup (adjustable rpm/TPS triggers)
- billet aluminium flywheel

Cheers
Justin.

hi justin
is this auto or manual ?? And do you happen to have the rest of the cam specs?.

Also we can't actually tune the T.I Performance chips as we only use the SCT Eliminator chips and the software is not compatible.

Thanks.

It's manual. Chip runs a modified EF manual tune.

I have the cam card, would bring it with me for the tune.

What does an Eliminator chip cost?
What does the SCT flash tuner cost?

Cheers
Justin.
