Default AX TX5 Ghia

I am looking for a new car, and have spotted one for sale. It is a TX5 Ghia, Hatch, V6, Auto, and with only 145,000 on the clock. It was owned by an elderly couple, but was sold when the Husband died, because it was his car, and the Wife could not hang onto it.

I am wondering what the car is like to drive, and whether there is anything worth looking at in this car. It will be a daily driver, and I need to make sure the car will be reliable, and also a safe enough car. I understand they have 4 Wheel ABS, and are mainly well built, so I am not worried about that, however the other option for me is a 1990 Subaru Liberty, so I would like to know about the Telstar will hold its own against a Liberty.

Thanks for your help.

basically the telstar is high end stuff, (much more expensive when new). I have 2 AT TX5's and a GD 626 (all the same car - 89models) but I am wrapped and I would buy one, the only thing stopping me would be the auto. They arent that strong so if you are gonna do burnouts and stuff forget the telstar. the V6 sounds awesome to say the least, and is a quite impressive motor.

24 Valve QUAD CAM
2.5, 6cyl
comes with a 7000RPM or 7300RPM Redline which sounds absolutely awesome over 6000.

good luck.

Cool Light bulb

Hello,

I have problems about which type of bulb to use for my 92 Telstar TX5 2.5 V6.

One of my fog light is damagd after a trip to Blue Mountain. Do anyone knows what type of bulb it use (is it H3, what Voltage and Watt)? Also, anyone knows how much it cost for a new fog light? Can I simply buy the glass cover without the whole set? Could it be replaced by aftermarket product? Any recommendation?

Also, do anyone uses a protective cover for their fog light?

Thanks

Bryan
