Just a quick thanks to the boys that made me feel welcome at Sandown. My first club event as a member but marred by my mood (apologies to those that noticed - ain't life/love grand!). While I slept thru a lot of it (a result of the big day/night at Heathcote on Saturday) I did enjoy much of it. Big thanks to Jason's wife who desperately tried to make my day as pleasant as possible. Lovely lady with a big heart.

Looking forward to some more civilized socialising when I relocate to Melbourne and some happier times. :

Regards
Gaela

The precedent of stripping weight and using full slicks was set years ago now.

So if you want to beat em, ya gotta join em, and being manual makes the time even more credible.

Thank Kev but I'm not on big pond over here.

But I'm wondering whether I can log onto my Dads' account, I just might try it.

I'm trying to put some photo's on a web site so I'll send a link soon to the club members.

See new thread for 2 photos

Bad move I think as I don't think Phillip Island is the place for an endurance race and Sandown is perfect as you can see the whole track from the stands and also the club has had some very successful days at Sandown. Its a pity that Sandown is only going to be for sprint races (Which will be boring as they will be over in about 30 - 40 minutes per race)
