!!! Anyone Interested In Calder Park Next Friday 28th July ? !!!

Hey guys,

I'm running my car next friday at calder park raceway, and was wondering if anyone was interested in coming to run theres or even come to watch? I'm currently spreading the word to my mates to come watch, but am wondering if any E-Series members wanna come along? I Plan on getting there at around the 7PM mark. If some people would like to come, ill arrange in this thread a meeting point, and time, for next friday...

I was going to organise say round about 6:20pm at the Maccas/BP right near calder park to meet up, n then head in there at 6:50pm or even 7pm... ? does that sound good for anyone?? if anyone has any suggestions go crazy n spit them out ! im flexible

Sounds good for times mate! I may give the cfi a belt down the quarter! You can all laugh at me. Then ill run it again a few weeks leter when its converted to MPFI!

oh yea nice snypereb, when i had CFI it went pretty hard, i reckon around 17 seconds 1/4 tho lol hehe, it had extractors, high flow cat n 2 1/2 exhaust

Well i have a high flow cat and thats it! So it will be interesting but most probably slow however it does have some have decent power sometimes lol! Gthofan reacons it has a modified cam in it but im not sure!!

I might be able to come, depends if i get a car from work for the weekend of not (I applied for one weeks ago for this weekend so find out this week)
If I didn't get one I might be able to make it, I've been keen to test the new motor. I'll keep my eye on this thread and possibly see you guys there!

short notice event :- let's see if we can get a few together and can get some coverage by commentry as to the club. have you all got e-series stickers on the cars might just make it easier for commentry. will post on thread later in week to confirm that i am definately working and what can be organised via race controol as well.

Whats the go with scrutinering? the outside of my back right tyre is bald from when it was on the frount and the camber was out but the rest of the tire is way over legal, would this pass?

if I can get another 600 km on my car and get the cam gear retensioned and all checked out i will be there. I guess I got a lot of driving to do tommorrow.

edit: also am i going to need a helmet or any other safety gear?

You'll need a helmet and just make sure your car passes a cursory RWC inspection.

ie. no leaks, no (major) oil leaks, dont worry too much about tyres.

And if you plan on running 10s remember to bring a rollcage :Reverend:
