Oh yeah apparently as both the motors are tight and have just been rebuilt we should get more rwkw when the losen up or run in properly - well so are the claims on the forums

Hmm, might just have to look into this for myself. My motor has 15,000km on it since full rebuild, totally standard apart from ACL oversized pistons.

First run with EB ECU and Chiptorque chip = 123rwkw
2nd run with EB ECU - no chip = 125rwkw
final run with EL ECU and TIP J3 chip = 129rwkw

I still feel that somethings holding it back, probably the auto getting old.
Got any more info on these WPN heads?

Sorted + Trick XD have freshly built Stock Rebuild Bottom Ends - thats same Cast Pistons, Same Rods, Same Crank, Same Block - Basically New Rings and Bearings and only honed - no increase in cc's or cubes

In my Case my Pistons, Rods, Crank and Block are over 300,000klms old

Stock Bottom End Rebuild in my case did Sweet FA to rwkw's as I had 156.9 before and now I have 161.1 - thats on same Dyno

Man my ute is guna have so much power, but whats the 4ltr about, i was hoping we would stick a WPN head on the 240000km old 3.9 thats in the ute now... As for the wife, if you can convince her that a clive cam, extractors, el ecu and a j3 chip is apsolutely necessary to fix a blown head gasket, then we're all set!!!

AND we all know why my engine makes good power?
It's all due to the Custom WPN Head made by Swanny/Trick_XD
Didn't even try with the bottom end as it's a stock rebuild with the same cast pistons the engine has had in it since the car came off the showroom floor in 1995

XH5LWEPN yeah it's a massive improvement on take off...... Very happy

MR_4.0 what's Matt doing showing you my secret Dyno Sheets lol

Nah it's all good, as you can see I am not one of these knobs who are all secretive about what's been done to their engine to get good power, yeah my afr's are a bit messy .

I still have my exhaust to fix as it has a restricter fitted in it so I will get that removed then retune and see if I can hit 180rwkw

Or I could change it from Auto to Manaul and I would be at 180 with no problems

Was also thinking if I get a smaller torque converter, I am talking about size, change from 9" to 8" then I can get more torque as the engine will spin up easier
