Hey Guys
Well im back
AND I NOW HAVE A FIANCE
I did what I had to do :
( Yes I kept my Word and I did not chicken out )

The track was crap late in the night ...
Wheel spin everywhere ... My first run of the night was My best
at a 13.334 @ 166.10kmph ...
the rest was a joke at 13.528 @ 162.1kmph 14.125 @ 164.74kmph

I think until they do something about the track .... I wont go back as I run "street" (nangtang 225/50/16) tyres and I get no traction the length of the starting grids ...

Well done to the guys with there P.Bs and I hope everyones car is ok after the night....
On my way out I seen a Blue EL with a JMM sticker on the back window getting put on a tow truck .... (seems to happen a lot to them cars)

Cheers
Swanny

Congrats on the engagement.

Good to see it wasn't all my driving skills (or lack of) regarding traction. I run Wanlis (don't laugh the dealer had to replace all 4 tyres and this was their cheapest option).

I managed a PB of 14.4 @ 99.5MPH last night in my NA EF 6. Will be there again next week probably.
Congrats to bluepower on their flat 10, and to Spoolman with his 11.1.

It was a pretty good night, congrats to everyone who pulled a PB! Chris' ute macked as usual, thats an awesome time, well done guys!
As for me, all i took away from the night was a smelly clutch and the realisation that i have no idea how to shift a manual quickly. :( Despite that, i still walked away with a 15.3! I was pretty wrapped, considering i made a dick of myself! Didn't get a time sheet, as i was just out there for the experience. I did see the time as i crossed the line, and was pretty stoked considering! Note to self, find second before releasing the clutch....

My fastest N/A time was a 13.3 at 166kmph
My fastest Nos time was 15.5 at 170+kmph Its only a 50 shot
I only got 1 run on Nos as it was the end of the night.. I was trying to get a 13.30 or better but the track was not going to let me
I did cheat a bit as I used some of that "non slip" vht stuff from a Mate here in town .. I put it on my tyres about 2weeks before the meet and let them sit.
1st run was good but the rest was not as good then went to crap as the night went on.

I don't think I can get much more out of my motor now .. it will all be tyres and diff and suspension work now to get me faster ... I all ready have a few bits put aside as I'm going to do it bit by bit I think

I will get so close to the JMM car on the bottle .. I might even pass it .. I wont stop trying ...
The other thing is ... I might just run Bottle from now on to see what it does .. Don't know.. all very up in the air
But it takes me about 10min to set up my nos under the bonnet ... not the easiest thing to do

Thanks for invite Spoolman and Congratulations on the times.
Apologies for not running, I only have week excuses! I did hide the BC away from the lights and glamour of the AFF camp!!!

It was good to catch up with a few people from the past, Mr Venom and Casper who also ran some good times with their Au's.
I recognised some other faces but I don't know the names.
Well done to CSV for the times he ran in his F6, I was still in the eastern suburbs when you ran I reckon! The Melways will go back in the car now.

I also saw the 10.05 from the Ute, Is that the quickest one around?
