Default Two peice rotors with floating hats

Hi there,

I was hopeing you could answer a question I have, Can any Two peice rotor be used with Floating hats to make a two peice floating rotor assembly or do the rotors need to be made differently to bolt to a floating hat?

I'm looking at a set of floating hats and springs but the rotors are shot and was thinging of replacing them with DBA X gold 2 peice rotors in 355x32mm and use the floating hats for the front off my BF ute (6 pot Brembos)

thank you in advance
cheers

If you have a floating hat to rotor with a bobbin or strap type assembly then you need a matched rotor as most of the rotors on the market through DBA for instance will be a direct bolt on rotor consisting of a bolt and nut and even then you have to have the correct size and bolt pcd.

So you want a floating hat to rotor set up ? The rotor you have doesn't just have 6mm holes and bolts directly to a alloy hat?
I will need you to pm me all the details in what you want as i am guessing if it is something custom a std AU2 to FG 355mm x 32mm 2 piece dba rotor combo will not fit.

Sorry, yes I'm after a floating hat to rotor setup.

I don't have the hats and rotors, they are for sale and was thinking of using them. The rotor has holes and mounts to the hat with bolts and spring clips for the pic's I have seen.

Thank you floored, I'll send you a PM soon
