EF 'Mont wagon - 256,000kms
EF Futura sedan - ~270,000kms although with cluster changes i don't really know! :P

both on orig engines/gearboxes/diffs etc - sedan has a recon head, although i'm in the process of doing up a 150,000km-old Tickford engine to drop into the sedan ;)

EB2 GLi manual wagon coming up to 430,000 on the original enine box & diff. Fairmont speedo in it reads just under 220,000.

Timing chain is a bit rattly when cold & it isn't what you would call fast anymore but the only oil that it uses is because it leaks a little. Head gasket was replaced 290,000 ago.

I would put some effort into replacing the rear main seal but as do that I would rather drop in an AU engine.

My first EB2 newin 1993 had done 190,000 in 2 years when it was replaced with an EF that did 100,000 during it's firs year.

93 ED Fairmont Ghia 5.0 V8 ~ 165,428kms with records.
Had 157,000 when bought early 05. Done 8,000kms in a bit over a year since owning it.
Quite nice K's for an ED. Windsor has plenty of life left in it yet.

'90 EA S-Pack reading 320 000 k's and is still going strong!
On original motor, trans, driveline - i've had it for about 6 months and redid the blown head (how i bought it), which was about 3000k's ago. Been given an overhaul inside and out, still gold! _2:

Auto tranny feels like it's almost on its last legs though - an incentive to do a manual conversion maybe? :hihi:

Have EF11 gli wagon, bought it at 170,000 in 1998, done 390,000 on original engine, got an AU box fitted at 330,000, new power steer box at 385,000, radiator tank in 2001, one water pump, gets lumpy sometimes at idle with air con running and foot on brake, cant seem to get the dealer to up the idle speed, he does it and within 100 kms its back agin too low at about 700rpm on tacho, however everything really is ok, amazing really...roof lining just collapsed, driver seat needs redo as the foam is crushed, but everything still works, despite my son leaving it out in all weather whilw he had it at uni last year...car aged more in that one year than preceeding 5 years. Body not showing rust except around bonnet latch collar, black excternal trim pretty ratИИИИ but not ugly yet. I'm 54, I had several GT 's from new when I was young and some strong streeters, I loved them and in a way I love this old barge, actually rented and flogged a BA last year, and it REALLY handled well..I took 10 minutes of my best time coming back from Tenterfield to Drake...thats impressive, a very well engineered car, useable power and delivery,,,,but the cabin was a bit cramped for my 105kgs..Summing up: cant believe the EF11 doesn't carry a better resale!! I would love to get a one owner EL wagon to replace the old girl...anyone know where there's one?
