Hi, yes damiAN is alot better! It might be possible to sell DIY stripe kits, however it's going to be hard for the average person to stick them on first time without bubbles etc. You use the "wet" method so at least you can move them around a bit, but we'll see. Maybe if those interested wanted to come to the Grafico office we can do them in the garage here like Danny did? We're located in Carlton

Those lower stripes are alot easier to do. I'll take some measurements from danny. How did you go installing them your self?

well took me about 30mins in total, with an hour drying at removing bubbles with an old credit card. I did it using the water and light soap method with masking tape to position it. Its easy enough.

As for the attention, It is getting more looks, and I had some very flattering comments made about it last night after I drove home from Grafico. They look great. I really wasn't sure it was possible, But its a credit to he work Damian at Grafeeko does lol...

And here's another picky for y'all to see. Took it quickly today after a nice washy poo.

Cars looking great!

Red doesn't look good on every car, but the Fiesta is not one of those cars!

The black trim & tinted windows set that red off soo much. I'm having to add colour to my Fez with racing stripes!

a similar colour is available to heritage green. just purchase a set through ebay and specify which colour you need.

I don't have anyone in Sydney that could make/install the stickers, however I could send a stripe set and you could get someone to install them up there?

Thanks

Hey Grafico....

Yea, I don't exactly drive a Fiesta - was more after the F1 lookalike stripes for the Renault Clio Sport. But yea, if you ever come up to Sydney, let us know.

Most of the stripes I've seen on Fiestas/Clios aren't exactly.... classy and professional looking to me.

Nice work Danny! Looks great. Can't wait to see it all finished! How you finishing it off on the rear? Just like the front, above the number plate?

Here's something a little left field, but how about some stripes that go along the contours of the bonnet similiar in the way that the XR8 bonnet bulge stickers go. As much as the ST stripes look damn hot on Danny's, I don't think they would work on something like mine.

Are you after Gordini style stripes Teki? That'd look cool.

I wonder if they could do my roof & bonnet carbon fibre style. Or would that look a bit cheap. (Especially after bagging a rice style Fez.)

Yep! Exactly what I'm after John... But maybe in a different colour to white (I'm wanting the yellow from the Renault F1 car!)

Um, I think that would be a bad idea mate - The Fiesta is euro. No need for the carbon fibre...

Carbon fibre isn't exactly exclusively rice. There's plenty of Euros with carbon fibre. Having said that I'd be very curious to see any sticker that could actually pull off the look.

It could, I've seen the roll of stuff damian (Grafico) Has, and It looks real, and would look real if fitted to a bonnet properly no doubt.

Sorry Leigh - I should have changed my post. What I meant to say was that I think the Carbon Fibre stickers would look rice - real stuff looks ok... sometimes. Not sure on the Tango Red colour though...

Just an idea. I've seen stick on CF but none of it looks the real deal. CSL is plenty euro Teki.

M3 CSL, the Howling Banshee I think...

M6 has a CF roof too to lower the centre of gravity

OH right - Yes I know that. Just didn't know he was refering to the BMW M3 CSL. And yes, that is what I meant by REAL CF being fine

Carbon Fibre vinyl is availble, however its not strong enough for outdoor use on a car. The vinyl is basically printed with a carbon fibre look print, and with outdoor conditions and car washing, the print can fade or disappear!

Should be able to finalise Danny's car by the weekend, so will keep you guys posted. In the mean time, keep those badge stickers coming through!

Ciao

Damian

How wide? They're two parallel stripes 2mm wide each with a 2mm gap in between (look at my avatar). I got a 10 metre roll at Autobarn for $6. I was thinking of taking them off though and getting stripes like yours & Danny's. Mista Fiesta's ones look mad, too. Argh, I can't decide! Side stripes, or up-and-over? If I got both, my wife would crack it. Too ostentatious.

Grafico: Where in Carlton are you? That's just a 20-25 minute drive from my place. Could I drop in sometime? I'd love to have stripes on my car.

Hang on a second and I'll PM you a medal...

Anyways, My lack of Graphical sticky vinyl knowledge was proven tonight as it DIDN'T take half a day, however it did take longer than two hours (a professional was at work). The rear and roof have been done and here is what they look like. I'm rapt.

Rear looks great

Grafico Promotional Pic

Big thanks to Grafico for the work done on the car, It looks FAAANtastic! I'm happy as.
