You can get prices in $AUD from their site. Give me a few weeks and I will probably do another order with them if you can wait that long.

99 explorer motor is the same as our AU for the most part so if you order parts for that from rockauto they will work on our cars.

Having said that I found out from a mate today that the TPS they sell does not fit under our bonnets - leaves a dent.

Just go for the Dorman brand one on price alone. Might be chinese but mine has been in for over 3 years without a problem.

If you want a genuine Motorcraft one I see they are only $87AUS at the moment. A far cry from the $700 from your local Ford Dealer.

I dont mind doing an order then if a few people want stuff. I want the cam synchronizer as soon as i can get my hands on it so would look at ordering it this weekend, so if anyone wants something maybe we can workout a deal regarding postage costs if its cheaper to order a few things at once?

Maybe everyone could post the product/part number here so that everyone has the same information and ill get a costing for parts and postage. Ill arrange postage when the stuff gets here through www.e-go.com.au??

Aus Post will take all of it, no need for a courier.

I'm in for a Cam Synchroniser and a crank angle sensor.

The synchros generally let go after about 100,000kms or so but it can vary. The crank angle sensor is just something I want to have 'on the shelf' - then Ive got one of every sensor spare.

I had a Dorman in my old AU, but in hindsight I would have paid the extra $50 for the motorcraft.

Read some shocking stories on U.S. Explorer forums about guys that used the dorman, and the gear on the cam sync broke off and stopped turning the oil pump. Not a part I would want to skimp on.

Not yet. But there are a few different brand synchronisers available, from anywhere including postage at $75 through to close to $200. Check the link above. Doing an order in the next day or so. Just waiting on people getting back to me.

I only have one though I'm not keen to lose sight of it to send up to Qld, or I'll end up being the one ordering it off Rockauto instead of you ;)

A few of the units come with the tool, Standard does.

You can also get them on their own

If you can't get Motorcraft, Standard is what I used after reading that a few had trouble with Dorman units.
