Default Towing with an ecoboost

I have a small alloy boat. Wouldn't weigh more than about 500kgs. Does anyone tow with their ecoboost Mondeos? How do they handle a smallish load?
Cheers.

I'd be thinking it'd be the same for it's max load, perfectly fine.

My Focus is rated to tow 1200 kg but l wouldn't ever want to do it. I have no doubt that the drive train in the Mondeo is up to the job but l don't want to be the guy holding up traffic on a small hill because the engine can't handle the load.

My TDCi barely even notices 500kg.
Considering the torque characteristics of the ecoboost I think you will find it similar with such a small weight.

I tow all the time with our Ecoboost Monty. The camping trailer weighs around 650kgs and really I forget it is there until I look in the mirror. Honestly towing a 500kg trailer it won't even crack a sweat.
